The Centre for Migration Studies (CMS), University of Ghana, celebrates the appointment of Prof. Peter Quartey and Prof. Lilian Akorfa Ohene to key leadership positions within the University.
Prof. Peter Quartey, a former Deputy Director and inter-faculty member of CMS, has been appointed as Provost of the College of Education, while Prof. Lilian Akorfa Ohene, Chair of the CMS@20 Planning Committee and an inter-faculty member of the Centre, has been appointed as Dean of the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
These appointments reflect their outstanding contributions to scholarship, research, academic leadership and service to the University community. Over the years, both academics have distinguished themselves through their commitment to teaching, mentorship and advancing knowledge within their respective fields.
Their new roles present further opportunities to provide strategic leadership, strengthen institutional development and contribute to the continued pursuit of excellence at the University of Ghana.
