Extension Activities

The Centre is continuously actively seeking to influence migration policies and is represented on various national and international boards including the Inter Ministerial Committee on Migration, National Migration Unit, Ministry of Interior, the IOM AENEAS Labour Migration Technical Group of the Ministry of Manpower, Youth and Employment and works actively with Stakeholders and Developmental partners, such as, the Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana Statistical Service, IOM, the UNDP and the Migration Units of various Embassies among others. The Centre is also a member of the Network of Migration Researchers in Africa, as well as the Global Migration Research Consortium Group.

The centre has a collaborative links focusing on research teaching and training with several institutions which include:

  • Institute of Social Studies, the Hague, Radboud University. Nijmegen and MDF Training and Consultancy all in the Netherlands under NUFFIC funding;
