The Centre for Migration Studies (CMS), University of Ghana, is pleased to announce the 2nd CMS@20 International Conference, scheduled to take place on 23rd–24th April 2026 at 8:30 AM at the ISSER Conference Facility, University of Ghana.
The conference is being organised under the theme, “Bridging the Gap? Rethinking Engagement Between Migration Research, Policies and Practices.” It forms part of the Centre’s 20th Anniversary activities and will provide an important platform for scholars, policymakers, practitioners, and stakeholders to reflect on the relationship between migration research, policy, and practice.
The conference seeks to promote critical dialogue on how migration knowledge is produced, communicated, and applied, while fostering stronger engagement among academic institutions, policy actors, and practitioners working in the field of migration.
CMS looks forward to welcoming participants and partners to this important gathering as part of its continued commitment to advancing migration scholarship, partnerships, and the future of mobility.
